Who I Am

While I was born and raised as a local BC girl, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics at Trinity University, a private school in San Antonio, Texas. With a business mind combined with a passion for design, during my third year of University, I studied abroad in the south of France to pursue my interest in art history, architecture, and language.

After University, I relocated to Toronto to work for Nike where I was responsible for managing Nike’s national and regional marketing strategies including the launch, design, promotion, and advertising of several Nike stores across the country. After 6 years with Nike, I returned to school to earn my Executive MBA at Simon Fraser University.

In 2000, I launched my marketing firm which focused on helping Canadian and US companies establish an online marketing presence. During this time I continually found myself being pulled into interior design projects. Finally I decided to listen to my heart and pursue my passion for interior design by enrolling in an interior decorating diploma program. From there M Design was born, and I have been successfully transforming clients’ homes into the spaces of their dreams ever since. To top it all off, I am very honoured to be a recipient of the Best of Houzz award. Only 3% of design professionals are recognized for this award, and thus, I am thrilled to be included with such an esteemed group of colleagues.

I currently reside in West Vancouver with my husband and two children. My approach to design is classic, timeless, thoughtful, personal, fresh, and grounded in simplistic beauty.
